The Luhta Ahonkulma is a versatile garment that can be worn as a top layer on cool summer evenings or dry autumn days, or as a mid-layer under a jacket in inclement or wintry weather. The jacket's midsection is made of windproof fabric and has light padding. The horizontal channels have been glued instead of sewn, so that the wind cannot penetrate through the seams. The fabric also has a water- and dirt-repellent, PFC-free surface treatment. The jacket's sleeves and collar are made from a delightfully soft and comfortable fleece material that also provides good thermal insulation.
